What Makes a Great Client for Us?

Company leadership is committed to the result
Business performance never stays the same. If you want to stay ahead, you have to change. The trouble is, people don't find this easy. If a project is to be successful, management has to make decisions and remain committed to their outcome. Projects succeed when senior management are committed to clear outcomes.

Decision makers take accountability
At the project's outset we must agree a clear scope with realistic timescales. You should be committed to establishing metrics to measure performance to verify that you're achieving the outcomes you want.

We work together as one team
Where projects are very successful, there is a warmly aligned team involved seeing the benefit of external support to raise the probability of corporate success. If you don't feel this is possible in your organisation then there is a cultural issue which we can also help you address.

Examples
CC1 supports large, medium and small organisations in both the private and public sectors. We have worked with a great range of clients in 2008 including insurance, major branded drinks, hospitality, marketing, IT, fashion and personal development. We can also say hand on heart that not a single client project has had anything but a great outcome.

To protect in some cases client confidentiality here are a range of recent case study examples.

High Performance Transformation for Primary General
Primary General wished to transform the performance of its people. Initial intentions were to take on two suppliers to provide the breadth. However, following an extensive tender process CC1 were selected to cover all due to their higher value proposition. The programme included:

  • Coaching for Managing Directors (each Regional MD was taught how to coach their people)
  • Team Leader Development Programme for all team leaders
  • A 6 month Consultative Selling Programme for BDM's and Underwriters
  • Programmes 360 degree feedback via our web based tools
  • Team development for the PBS Holdings Management Team

The range of activities have been widely acclaimed as highly successful. A new way of thinking and behaving is emerging across the company and some of the financial results now coming through are making us feel very proud.  As a consequence we are now also supporting the development of the main holdings board.

'The CC1 training has been a great step forward in focusing effort and energy, creating a common understanding and a common language. There is already clear signs that it has been performance enhancing at an organisational level'

Tim Rolfe - Managing Director Primary General Insurance and Rural Insurance

Performance development for Everards Brewing 'The Pub Company of The Year'
We are delighted to have built a strong relationship with Everards over a number of years.  Currently activity is focused upon supporting the development of senior people. In 2007 and 2008 Everards were awarded 'Pub Company of the Year' which is testimony to their great leadership, culture and commitment to developing people.

'Chris blends a refined commercial intellect and rigour with a deep understanding of people management, process and organisational culture. A rare skill. He delivers added value because of this ability to see the bigger picture. So whilst he may be working on a functionally specific project, you will always receive a whole lot more!'
Stephen Gould, Managing Director, Everards Brewery.
